Rob House, 37, of Dresden, Ohio, has raced for twelve years. He started out in the Street Stock class in 1989. He then moved to the Semi-Late Model Class in 1991. He was very competitive in this class taking many checkered flags. In 1996, he moved up to the Late Model Class. That year he was voted Rookie of the Year. Last year in 2000, Rob was Second in the points race at Muskingum County Speedway in Dresden, Ohio. Additionally, he received the Hard Charger and Driver of the Year honors from Muskingum County Speedway. Dirt Track Racing declared him the Driver of the Year at their 6th Annual Banquet. 2000 was a phenomenal year, but he topped it in 2001! Rob won the point’s race at Muskingum County Speedway by taking 5 First Place Finishes, 4 Second Place Finishes and 3 Third Place Finishes. When asked to race newcomers Street Stock he agreed to do it. He took third place in the Street Stock Nationals. What a year! Rob credits his crew, family, and his new sponsors for the successful season. It makes a difference having help with the finances. Rob has amazing talent. He can drive whatever comes his way. It would be great to see him pick up a ride for the next levels up. Rob lives in Dresden with his wife, Stephanie and three daughters, Melissa 13, Allison 9, and Lauren 4. His family is his biggest fans!

have been in the Late Model class for 5 years.
When I started racing in 1989 I drove a street stock.
In 1992, I started driving a semi-late model.
I picked up my first feature win that year.
My racing career as far as winning has been on the up hill swing since
then.

Track Champion at Midway Speedway

Won 8 Features – Only raced half a year.
1996 Moved up to Super Late Model Class – Won Rookie of the Year

Won 3 Late Model races

Won 2 Late Model races
1999
Won 2 Late Model races including the Buckeye Fall Classic
We also made the legendary dirt track world championship at West Virginia Motor Speedway, where we raced with the best there is in dirt late model racing, we finished 21st but we were running 11th when we broke.
Qualified for the Feature Race in 33 out of 34 races
Second in the Points Championship at Muskingum
County Speedway
Awarded Driver of the Year and Hard Charger of the Year at the Muskingum County Speedway
And on
January 20, 2001 I was named late model Driver of the
Year at the Dirt Track Round Up
awards banquet in Parkersburg,
West Virginia.
